Abstract

During the last decade, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation with absorbable threads has become an important aspect of dermatologic practice, due to the increase in demand from patients who desire a more youthful appearance. It is a non-surgical procedure, safe, easy to perform, effective, with minimal recovery time and low risk of side effects, which allows improving skin texture, repositioning tissues and improving its flaccidity. We conducted a case report a of the clinical, histologic and ultrasonographic findings in a patient who underwent to this procedure and their concordance is demonstrated.
